How to setup "Backup copy job"

  1. Click "Backup Copy"

  1. Right-click

  1. Click "Backup Copy..."

  1. Change "Name" and "Description"

  1. Click "Perodic copy (pruning)"

  1. Click "Next >"

  1. Click "Add..."

  1. Click "From jobs..." or "From repositories..."

  1. Choose your job or repository, you want to copy

  1. Click "OK"

  1. Click "Next >"

  1. Choose "Backup repository"

  1. Choose the repository, what is shown from cc.sjt.services.

  1. Click here and set to 14 days.

  1. Click here

Set "Retention policy" up to 14 days! Backup copy are immutable for 14 days!

  1. Click "Configure"

We recommend this options!

  1. Click "Advanced..."

  1. Click "here"

  1. Click "Configure"

  1. Click "Weekly"

  1. Click "Days..."

  1. Choose a day of the week and not the weekend.  Click "OK"

  1. Click "OK"

  1. Click here and set to 30 days.

  1. Click "Storage"

  1. Click "Encryption"

It is a requirement to ENABLE backup file encryption!
Protect data in backup files produced by the backup copy job.

  1. Click "Add..."

  1. Set a safe password

Don't lose this password!

  1. Type in your password

  1. Click "OK"

  1. If you aldready set a password in another Backup copy job, u can choose it here

  1. Click "OK"

  1. Click "Next"

  1. Click "Direct"

  1. Click "Next"

  1. Click "Run the job automatically" and choose your favorite backup frequency

  1. Click "here"

Tip! Automatic retry will restart your Backup copy job, if it failed.

  1. Click "here", if you want to terminate your Backup copy job at a specific time

  1. Click "Apply"

  1. Click "Finish"

Tip! You can start your Backup copy job directly after clicking on "Finish".
The first Backup copy job is always a full Backup!

Starting the backup copy job will claim your network!
